Hi.  Welcome to TrueBlueBlood

TrueBlueBlood is a political blog site championing Conservative values and beliefs.  The Conservative Party has a rich history of success, inspired by leaders like Disraeli, Pitt, the greatest war time Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, the greatest peace time Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, right through to the current day and hopefully our next Prime Minister David Cameron.

Why do we need another Conservative blog site?  Another site that nails the lies in British Politics can only be a good thing.  What stands this site out from many political blog sites is the debate on real issues, the generation of new ideas and directions for the Conservative Party to consider and take the ‘right path’ forward.  What it is not is a blog focused on political gossip, scurrilous remarks and sensationalism or a vehicle for the political ambitions of the person writing it. 

Hence, at the end of April 2009, TrueBlueBlood was born.  A blogsite for not only me but other Grassroots Conservatives to have their say.  State their views.  Debate.  Inspire.  Thus far, in only a handful of months, TrueBlueBlood has a healthy community.  In the 2009 Total Politics Awards, this site, after only a short period of time, was voted number 19 in the Top Conservative blog sites, in the top 50 of the Right of Centre blog sites and in the overall top 100 UK Political blogsites.  A good start but we have much more to achieve. 

As you can see from this site, it is passionately Conservative.  The whole goal is to encourage you to have your say and debate.  Please always feel free to leave your comments both on this site, or join in the debate elsewhere.  TrueBlueBlood is fortunate to have built a very active Facebook Community, with comment threads regularly hitting 50+.  You can also follow TrueBlueBlood on Twitter and join in discussions there.  Please click on either image below to be magically hyperlinked to the relevant site….
