Yes. Michael Martin, former discredited Speaker of the House of Commons.
Shameful!
The man who tried to cover up the expenses scandal. The man who presided over a corrupt House and did nothing.
No moral justice in this world that he now gets rewarded with a Peerage and a seat in the House of Lords.

This is disgusting. This man sought to hide the abuses of Parliament. He should not be rewarded.
I don’t know how I feel about Speaker Martin. He was incompetent. He did hide the expenses scandal for as long as he could but, it is a big BUT, I really cant stand his successor John Bercow.
Bercow flipped homes and was complicit in the expenses scandal. He was a Labour plant into the role. He is an arrogant, unapproachable man. I will be voting for Farage next year, only because Bercow needs to feel the chill winds of democracy!
