Most of this list will have their members out on strike this winter if pay is frozen. Some of these people see a strike as their crowning glory...their time in the media spotlight...their chance to be on Sky News. Striking rarely results in any tangible benefit...yet it is the goal of these dinosaurs. Why? Their own self promotion.This recession is painful, especially for those in the private sector. Jobs are being lost; businesses failing; salaries cut or frozen; negative equity is killing housing market; people struggling to pay bills and feed their families....and what is the answer of the Unions...'all out, tools down'. The cancer of Great Britain..... Agree. Most of this list will have their members out on strike this winter if pay is frozen. The misery and worry in the private sector, where most people are lucky to keep the same salary as last year as a lot are facing pay cuts, coupled with increased taxation. It's time the unions should take some social responsibilty and persuade their members to take take pay freezes to save the public purse. A bankrupt Britain would not be able to pay anyone - they should perhaps bear that in mind! Indeed, these people are not just dinosaurs but ostriches with their head in the sand!
