Michael Jackson……musical genius…..but no role model!

As tributes continue to pour in for Michael Jackson and his untimely death, let’s remember that the man was a talented musician but he should not be canonised as a role model as some newspapers / commentators are doing at the moment.
Putting aside allegations from recent years, it is clear the man had a sad addiction to prescription drugs in his final months. That in itself is not role model material.
A phenomenal back catalogue of musicial brilliance….we will never forget how he transended black and white music. The likes of Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat it….will be loved and remembered far beyond my obscure death. But again, let’s remember and pay tribute to his musical genius….but not as a role model we would ever want our children to espouse to be.
Better role models could be…….

I am sick of hearing how brilliant he was. Yes his music is phenomenal. But he was not a saint. he was accused several times of child abuse…hence his exile for many years. He is a druggie.

As for being a “druggie” far too many people are turned into “druggies” by dcotors who are careless and over-prescribe dangerous medications, or who are greedy and over-prescribe in order to milk their wealthy patient.
Everyone has some drawbacks no one could be perfect but mj was far beyond perfection in each and every field .Michael jackson was an phenominal artist and the Best dancer in the world , no one will be able to come even close to what he had achieved in his Life . His music is so pure that i feels like i am in complete different world , infact i am listening to his music right now while writing this . Michael jakson has been the most popular and loved celebrity across all the countries of world and across all genrations Since this earth is formed no entertainer so far has been able to match 1/4 of his global populairty He is an ANGEL who will reperesent MUSIC in this genesis of earth , He truly deserves his title, “King of Pop”, and I am very sorry to realize that he will never know how much he is loved and appreciated by so many.
